Quick Vessel and Exchanger Design

Do you need to quote a vessel or exchanger for a rush job? COMPRESS includes a wizard interface which requires only basic information to model complete pressure vessels (shown above) and Heat Exchangers. The vessel and exchanger wizards call upon component wizards to create an optimum design.

Good engineering practices are built into all selections made by the COMPRESS wizards. For example, internal and external pressure requirements are balanced to arrive at an optimum spacing of vacuum stiffeners. In this design case, the wizard will add stiffeners instead of increasing plate thicknesses until the user-specified minimum spacing has been reached.
