UG-80 and UG-81 Out-of-Roundness Forming Tolerances

ASME VIII-1, paragraphs UG-80 and UG-81 specify the out-of-roundness tolerances that must be maintained during pressure vessel fabrication. COMPRESS automatically  provides the UG-80 and UG-81 permissible out-of-roundness tolerances needed to conform to these forming requirements.

COMPRESS conveniently produces an out-of-roundness summary report that lists all component maximum deviations and chord lengths.  In addition, detailed UG-80 and UG-29 calculations are provided.  They can be easily found in each of the individual formed (shell and head) component reports.
