Cladding is often an economical choice for pressure vessels in corrosive service.  Starting with Build 8300,  COMPRESS supports this by providing the ability to model cladding on your vessel and performing calculations per UCL-23.

Many owner\operators have specifications on how to consider cladded material.  COMPRESS provides three options for users:

  • Lining – UCL-23(a)
  • Integral Cladding – UCL-23(b) without thickness credit
  • Integral Cladding / Weld metal overlay – UCL -23(c) with thickness credit
