Using Tees in COMPRESS

Tees (branch connections) can be an excellent way to reduce pressure vessel welding and material costs. COMPRESS provides the ability to use tees as shell components. COMPRESS models also support tees attached to nozzles.

Tees are treated as ASME B16.9 rated components and Appendix 1 calculations are performed for each tee.
