Enhance Productivity with Quick Design Mode

Pressure vessel Quick Design is a feature that speeds up the process of pressure vessel modeling. It leverages the power of the COMPRESS graphical user interface and extends other recent time saving innovations to reduce data entry to an absolute minimum. The workflow is described in the video tutorial on the right and can be summarized as follows:

Create a new document and open the Specification Sheet Data pane. This dialog allows you to set design data for the entire vessel before creating any components.
From within the Specification Sheet Data pane, select a material scheme to use. This user definable list allows you to specify which preset group of materials to use when creating components.
Set your design conditions, activate Quick Design mode and then drag and drop components into place using you mouse.
